Editor is horrible

I really appreciate Thunderbird, setting it up was incredibly fast and reliable. but writing emails is a pain - where can you set the font size so that the signature and the body text look the same? why does the appearance change so much when forwarding that it simply looks unprofessional? why is the editor text suddenly tiny? why on earth can't you just set โ€œCalibri 11ptโ€ and everything looks the same? The appearance of emails is extremely important for business use. Thunderbird leaves you alone with the uncertainty of how mails will be received by the other person. Makes the program absolutely unusable for me. Too bad!

- go to TB menu > General > Font & Colors > Advanced

- at the top, set 'Fonts for:' to Latin if it isn't already

- change Proportional and Monospace sizes

- set Minimum font size to None

- at the top, change set 'Fonts for:' to Other Writing Systems

- repeat the process of changing sizes
