1. Go to private window
2. Download a file
3. Open Downloads pop-up
4. The files should be there, instead there is absolutely unnecessary notification about files downloaded - I know, I downloaded them, intentionally, I'm not mental handicapped
5. Go pass the notification, the files should be listed on the pop-up
6. Instead, the list is empty, and the only thing I see is Show all downloads which opens a tab with downloads where there are the downloaded files, but it's super inconvenient
Resolution: Bring back the Downloads pop-up!

Experiencing the absence of downloaded files in the Downloads pop-up while using Firefox's Private Browsing mode is a known issue ☹️. This behavior is intentional, as Firefox does not retain download history in Private Browsing sessions to protect user privacy.
To manage your downloads:
Access Downloads Panel: Click 👆 the Downloads icon in the toolbar to view recent downloads.
View All Downloads: Click "Show All Downloads" at the bottom of the panel to open the Downloads Library.
Change Download Location: Navigate to Settings 🏵> General > Files and Applications to adjust where files are saved.
If you prefer to retain download history, consider using a standard browsing window instead of Private Browsing.
