I was recently on a site for an end of life service for pets, and went through the process of documenting some difficult details for the website form in order to request in-home euthanasia. I submitted the form and found that the site had been blocked from redirecting by Firefox. By design, I was able to determine this quickly thanks to the browser messaging. Unfortunately, this required that I reenter all details, including a narrative describing the situation in some depth. There are two aspects for consideration for someone going through a period of loss (or difficult decisiomaking): (1) the user may not be tech savy and could miss the site-level block on URL redirection (2) if they manage to divine this, they will still be required to reenter the information. I understand that this may not be feasible, but I felt it was worth mentioning.
The "nuclear reset" on the form entry might not be required for all sites, but if there are considerations made for certain types of sites relating to bereavement, this might be worth adding.
