The internet has grown lots the time is here I have seen that we need a source or dictionary of terms and abbreviations that is constantly updated, free and available to anyone.

I thank the programmers (who all have beautiful names for some reason) but I'm going on 76 years old this year and need a glossary. Although pleased to have received updates today, March 22, 2024, I have no idea what the following terms mean and just accept on faith that they're good, especially being able to fill out PDFs in Firefox:
Caret browsing mode
taskbar jump list
Qwant
AbortSignal.any
WebSockets

I just turned 50 & have to look up a lot of stuff nearly continuously, but I do know the answer to one of those terms.
The jump list is the list that shows up when you right click on an icon in the taskbar, as well as the taskbar itself. The example is when I right click on Microsoft Word 2019 pinned to my taskbar. It usually shows Pinned & Recently opened files. For the internet it sometimes shows the same, though there's no way to really control the Jump List. And OneNote doesn't really have one, at least not with specific notes you can "jump" to.
Sorry, I don't really know what that other stuff really is.
