Closed Tab Undo on Mac iOS needs to be less intrusive and disable-able

I used to love my clean Firefox homescreen on my iPad, but now every single time I close a tab, I have to see a huge blue banner pop up. I get it that it's useful for some, but for me it's only a huge annoyance -- ugly, time-consuming, clutter. It's such an intrusive experience that I am considering switching to a different browser, after many years of Firefox loyalty. Am I the only one who can find no way to turn off this feature?

Yes, totally agree, get rid of it or at least an option to disable it!

I fully agree, it's a huge annoyance. The banner is big, bright blue and it moves - that's three attention seekers. The only thing missing is that it's making a noise 😉

Would be very desirable if we could disable it at least.

Horrible, make it go away.

Please? And thank you for hopefully listening to us.

Are they serious with this? Abysmal. It also bugs out on sites like perplexity, and together with the keyboard 'Done' bar makes it impossible to use. Enbleepification is real. Other browsers don't exhibit this behavior.

There's no way to say this nicely - you need to get more competent people working on the iPad version. These decisions directly affect user experience in every step of browsing for everyone.

Forced to switch away until this is fixed, and I was happy to use Firefox after seeing how much of a battery hog Brave is.
