Firefox 156.0.1 and Windows 10 PC. Tried on two computers. Removed Amazon cookies and data. Cannot sign on to Amazon since ??Sept 19th when signed out of all devices. Activated 2FA with Authenticator. Works on all mobile devices. On desktop rejects password which is copied and pasted from same source as mobile devices.

Have tried private window and still doesn't work.

Thoughts?

This problem is now broader than amazon. Getting this on another site that uses authentication right after I enter password.

Secure Connection Failed

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

See if websites work in Troubleshoot Mode (Menu -> Help and Report -> Troubleshoot Mode).

If yes: you likely have an extension causing the issue.  Go to Menu -> Extensions and Themes and first try clicking the ⚙ and then "Check for updates".  Or try turning one of them off, and see if sites now work.  If not, turn that extension back on, and turn another one off.

If no: you probably have some anti-virus or anti-malware software on your PC that is breaking your encrypted sites so it can check that traffic for viruses.  Do a web search for the name of the anti-virus or anti-malware you use and "https sites not loading" or "secure sites not working" and see if anyone has posted steps for how you can turn this website intercepting off.

Problem exists on both for Firefox 157.0.1

Have you tried Troubleshoot Mode as I suggested?

Yes. Problem exists in troubleshoot mode. This problem is new. I cant play with antiviral software as corporate and they are not going to disable for one business and one personal/business websites. Amazon does not work on Chrome. The other site does.

Okay, if the company you work for has an anti-virus product installed that is causing some HTTPS websites to break, speak to your IT Department at your company.

This isn't a Firefox issue.
