Hello,
since "the big update" I noticed that the "edit calendar event" popup-window size is too small to display essential information and action buttoms. I need to scroll every time.
Any way to change that?

Hello
For information purposes
Double-clicking an event now shows an unwanted intermediate event summary window rather than opening the "Edit Event" dialog/tab directly https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1685007
Since release of Thunderbird https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/102.2.2/releasenotes
Setting added to change Calendar event double-click action to open Edit Event dialog rather than view only; Set calendar.events.defaultActionEdit to true
Goto config Editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor
Search calendar.events.defaultActionEdit
To edit a boolean preference (true/false value), click on the Toggle button
For information purpose
Another to access the Config Editor
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1755788
Since release of Thunderbird 115 In the Settings tab, enter about:config in the search box
https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/115.0/releasenotes
NEW Searching for "about:config" in Settings now finds "about:config"

Try this to fix:
Help > Troubleshooting Information
In 'Application Basics' section - half way - Profile Folders - click on 'Open Folder'
Exit Thunderbird
Locate and delete these files:
- session.json
- xulstore.json
Restart Thunderbird.
REport on results.

TB 115.13 on Ubuntu 20.04 has the same issues. There is a vertical scroll bar on the Description pane which does not quite get you to the bottom of the description. There is no vertical scroll bar on the Attendees tab and when organising a meeting of more than 20 people (30 in my case) you can not scroll down to the names at the bottom. The names at the bottom are those who bothered to reply to the calendar invite, so you can't see who said yes and who said no so that you can start the meeting knowing you have a full house, from those who bothered to reply. In case screen resolution is the issue, mine are set to 1920 x 1080 (16:9).

Thanks but the best available from the official Ubuntu 20.04 repos is 115.13 and the best available from the mozillateam ppa for stable releases is 115.14. Same story on the official repos with Ubuntu 22.04.

As far as I'm concerned
Installing Thunderbird on Linux
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-thunderbird-linux
System Thunderbird installation (for advanced users) that's my installation.
