Firefox has a problem that isn't a technical bug, but act like one.
if you choose "Ask where to save files before downloading", some site can simply download to the default path anyway.
if you change the setting in "Choose how Firefox handles downloaded files and content." to always ask (pdf for exemple), when you try just to open the file and choose the option "open with firefox" it automatically download to default path, for files a don't even wanted downloaded. there's not option to not download (i searched several times).
and if a disable this option, the problem with sites downloading without asking before continues...
it rather be able to choose where to download the file or to be able to open a file without downloading... (in all other browser don't have this problem). the setting is poorly impremented.
