Hello.
I don't know if this problem has already been reported before, but I'll tell you anyway.
Several of us have noticed a problem when we need to insert a web link into the message. With the latest version of Thunderbird, 140, when we insert a link into the message (clic "insert", paste the link), the recipient cannot use the link in the received message, because the link appears in plain text. Previously, in older versions, there was no such problem. Good luck and good work 😉

Also, in the future it is best to post support questions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird where the bulk of people providing support can best help you. The Connect discussion is really designed for discussion, not so much for support.
