Once Bookmarks are backed up via desktop saved Bookmark.jason File (Imported restored bookmarks are negatively affected) How?
When clicking on bookmark and page loads the site, loses its star, Dark star Icon status desgnation. Not Shown as saved. Note a very low percentage 1% of bookmarks will regain black star status upon 2nd vist to bookmarked location.
Breaks the ability to then delete bookmark while on site via method of "Edit Bookmark" Save/Remove bookmark options.
How to easily discern affected re-imported bookmarks within list. When viewing bookmarks drop-down list the site icon beside bookmark reverts to wire framed as opposed to being the sites icon design. Again Note, a very low percentage 1% of bookmarks will regain black star status upon 2nd visit to bookmarked location.
Note; This bug has persisted for years as opposed to being affected after any recent updates.
This information addendum may useful I have 17 plus Bookmark Toolbar folders some have 140 ish bookmarks est total bookmarks all areas 700 to 1000.
