Better Autofill

I switched from Edge and while I really like the ability to have extensions on mobile, the autofill function has been bothering me. The name field is only full name when must forms have separate first and last names. There's no birthday field so you always have to do that manually too. Edge also seemed to have a "last used" Autofill so even custom fields would be remembered from last time.

I get that manual birthday entry can get tiring fast. I recently adapted a traditional blessing for a family birthday and it felt sincere. Maybe suggest adding a customizable field like marathi birthday wishes to make autofill smarter for personal details and special occasions.

I completely understand how manually adding birthdays can become repetitive over time. Recently, I personalized a message for a close friend, and it made the wish feel far more meaningful. It might be a great idea to include a customizable option for users to add personal touches — similar to how thoughtful Birthday Wishes for Female Friend make celebrations feel genuine and unique.

I get how small details like that can make a big difference in daily browsing. Just like thoughtful birthday wishes for friend, refining autofill fields to remember specifics adds a personal, time-saving touch.

  • Personal messages

    • Name: ensure correct preferred name and nickname.
    • Relationship: flag “friend,” “classmate,” etc., to tailor tone.
    • Birthday: auto-fill with a short, heartfelt line on their day.
  • Gift or event planning

    • Favorite color/brand/hobbies: use to suggest gift ideas or RSVP notes.
    • Availability: auto-fill time windows or reminders.
  • Travel or location-based reminders

    • Home city, common routes, or favorite cafés: prefill notes like “meet at [place]” or “budget-friendly option.”

Practical steps you can implement now:

  1. Create a small profile for key people in your browser autofill (name, pronouns, relationship, notable dates).
  2. Add field presets for common message types (birthday wish, congrats, thank-you note) with placeholders you can customize quickly.
  3. Use consistent phrases and tokens (e.g., {Name}, {Birthday}, {Hobby}) to speed up customization.
  4. Review forms you fill often (emails, cards, messages) and map the fields to your presets so you always get a warm, personal touch without extra effort.
  5. If you use password managers or form-fill tools, save not just credentials but also these message templates and field mappings for quick insertion.
