Even after setting false to several settings in about:config, and setting my hosts file, all things Mozilla to localhost, I am still regularly bombarded with update failure notifications, I'm going elsewhere, I'm sick of clicking dissmiss.
Please stop the drop down search engine. If I want to search I can use the address bar. The drop down should have at least have a "X" to close it. It interferes with reading the Home page.
