I'm trying to build Fenix APKs on a local workstation. I followed the official Android build instructions and everything appears to build fine. However, once I install it on an AVD or on my physical device, the app will try to open and immediately crash.
I've followed the instructions with a fresh repo for both the artifact and non-artifact build tracks and get the same result. I haven't actually modified anything in the source code. I have only added the mozconfig option to target AARCH64 as my dev workstation is AMD64 and my devices are not.
Following this guide: https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/mobile/android/fenix.html

The crash is likely caused by the AARCH64 build target.
ARM64 phone: --target=aarch64
x86_64 AVD: --target=x86_64
Build a separate APK for each architecture.
If the ARM64 phone still crashes, check:
adb logcat | grep -E "FATAL EXCEPTION|SIGSEGV"
Send me that output and I can identify the crash.

This could be related to the Android version or software environment.
Try testing on a different Android version and check adb logcat for the crash details. Also verify that the APK architecture matches the device.
For urgent printing needs, dtf prints next day can be a useful option.
