Hey, the tabs in grid view are much larger than they were in prior updates, cutting visible tabs on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22) from 10 to 6 at a time. Give an option to resize tabs, or at least revert the change to tab grid view with the UI redesign. Really hate to see a UI redesign that makes something worse like this.

Totally agree. The redesign is such a downgrade! Huge thumbnails are super slow to scroll through (if you keep lots of tabs open) and show unnecessary quantity of the target page.
Please revert.
This comes at the same time that the URL and menu bar redesign gets greedier for space and demands more clicks for simple operations and extended hand contortions to stretch to reach the further reaches of ever increasing mobile device screens. Just because the screen area is available, doesn't make it sensible to use it all with padding. Usability tests should include real life usage, such as one handed use and having lots of tabs open, then navigating between.
Really, please revert this or urgently give the option to do so and chose actual thumbnails.

Here's a temporary, hidden way to fix it:

Thank you, I am mostly happy with the rest of the chanves, but undoing "Tab Enhancements" is exactly what I wanted, I hope they take this feedback to hewrt though and don't continue with that design for tabs.

The temporary fix is no longer applicable as it was removed in the latest version. So I'll second the suggestion here to allow us to use screen space more effectively by shrinking the tab previews. Smaller favicons and larger site images ends up being a net negative for the average site I visit.

Yeah, sorry to be clear the option was removed in build 149
