I am just writing to tell you that you can go stick your latest "new and improved" feature (note extreme sarcasm) in AI chatbots where the Sun don't shine.
Someone tell me is Mozilla trying to destroy Firefox?
Are they trying to get people to move to Edge, Chrome, Safari or Opera?
If they are they are going the right way about it!
I am getting sick to the back teeth of Mozilla forcing their crap down our throats.
I have lost count the number of times I have had to go into about:config to turn off the latest crap FX has forced down our throats over the years.
None of us asked for AI Chatbots which is one of the worst ideas ever invented.
I already had to delete Microsoft CoPilot from my PC last September now I had to do it with FX.
Everybody do this and it works:
Goto address bar and type in about:config, goto the search bar and type chat and where it says browser.ml.chat.enabled change from true to false and you will be rid of those garbage chatbots.
I have done that for every forced you you feature FX has added over the years like Pockets and Screengrab and all the other garbage they have added over the years.

I feel your pain. I have been so sick of DuckDuckGo's policy of when you clear Cookies, you lose all the settings you chose to STOP all AI results, chat, etc.
I finally looked up Foxfire's browser, since I already use Firefox. I was soooooooooooo disappointed when they 'feature' all the AI as a reason TO use their browser.
I am so sick of AI this & that interfering with my personal research ... even summarizing reviews when I shop. I LOVE reading reviews - you learn great tips! AI and Amazon being at top of 'results' for any TOPIC - not thing - we search, make me glad I like to read things on paper - no one is turning the page on me nor telling me the end of the story are news article before I read on my own.
This AI crap has to get off of OUR PROPERTY.

I searched on Brave, supposedly independent etc. I'll attach it's AI result to question I asked about NOT use AI. It is totally WRONG. DuckDuckGo erases my settings everytime I clear my history in Firefox. AND, it confirms that it WILL do this when you clear their DEFAULT settings. They have as bunch of settings they return, not just the AI.
