Microsoft removed the "Maps" app from Windows 10, which means it's no-longer possible to set a manual default-location on that system, as that app used to open to let you select where you are:
For most people, their home-Internet will usually give a rough-enough approximation to where they are; but for people who use a mobile-solution, such as the "hotspot" feature on a phone or tablet to create a local Wi-Fi network, or who have a mini-router that has a SIM card inside it (or maybe some sort of satellite-based Internet), the location could be hundreds of miles away; usually their country's capital.
It would be useful if Firefox could allow users to enter a manual location within the settings, for example:
Manual Location
[✔] For websites I allow to access my location, report it as being:
Enter a location below, in the format: latitude, longitude:
[ 51.503328199157664, -0.12756588076705666 ] View location on Google Maps...
💡Most online map sites, for example Google Maps, will provide this information; hold-down on,
or right-click, a location. Then look for something similar to this: 12.34567890, -0.123456789
⚠ The location above is always ignored whenever the built-in VPN is enabled.
