Accidently activate Split View by holding ALT and click another tab

I'm using both Windows and Linux frequently, and has a habbit of Alt+Tab around all the time, and usually holding Alt a bit more after Alt+Tab (so that the windows preview is keep showing).

This makes me frequently activate Split View by accident by clicking another tab while not releasing the Alt key yet after an Alt+Tab.

For me, this is very annoying and disrupting, since there is no easy way to either undo this or prevent this easily AFAIK.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
