Vertical tabs / sidebar - expand on mouseover

Vertical tabs/the sidebar would benefit from an 'auto-hide' or 'expand on mouseover' feature. Similar to how it behaves in Edge, I would like to be able to expand the sidebar for vertical tabs on mouseover when I want to review my open tabs. This would allow users to avoid manually toggling the expanded view and will improve the experience when tab groups are introduced.

Hover on the sidebar button option

I like new sidebar tabs, however it takes away attention on the page your on when having to click the sidebar button.
  An option to have the same functionality but just hover on the button could improve the experience

Please add the feature where the sidebar for the vertical tabs expands on mouse hover & collapses automatically when the mouse cursor is removed from the sidebar section or even the sidebar icon

It would be nice if there was an option for the sidebar on vertical tabs to expand when hovering, similar to how Edge does their vertical tabs. I like having the sidebar collapsed with just the icon, but it's cumbersome to have to right click and click the Close Tab from the popup. Being able to hover and then the sidebar expands with an X at the end of the tab to close would be much smoother. And even just having this as an option in the sidebar options would be fine so people that don't like it expanding on hover can keep it how it currently is.

Hey, is this still planned for 137? I had to roll back to a sidebar extension because of this.
