I use my bookmarks toolbar as a quick access for a lot of my links - on the left, i have the websites i browse every day, and then i have a bunch of folders in which i have all the other websites, organized by category (news, social networks, etc.).
While it's possible to give whatever name to the folders (including emojis), I wondered if it was possible to replace the folder icon by a customizable emoji - this would allow to put the newspaper emoji for the news folder, for example. It would also allow to only have an emoji (and no text nor folder icon) in order to gain space on the bookmarks toolbar.
I'm joining a picture of my current setup (on top), and what a setup with emoji replacing the folder icons would look like.

The Bookmark Icons in the bookmark bar are default, which is too ugly. I hope you can add custom icons, or you can choose better icons.

书签栏部分书签的图标是默认的,太丑了,希望可以新增自定义图标,或者你们可以提供选择更好看的图标。

Hi Firefox, I really enjoy your browser and I appreciate that you've brought RUST to the world.

Since I have so many bookmarks, I tend to use super short names or better yet, a single emoticon to mark it. Firefox shows the folder icon + the name or emoticon that I've labelled it as. I understand that this is to highlight that it is a folder but for me I already know it is a folder and the folder icon is just in the way. If I could turn this off, I would.

Currently, bookmarks automatically use the websites Favicon, and unfortunately, the Favicon doesn't always look good, and I have a full bar of bookmarks I would like to give some sort of aesthetic. I would like the ability to right click on a bookmark, and after selecting edit bookmark to be able to upload an image. I would really take the extra step to design, add rounded corners etc. just to make my bookmarks bar look good, but I kindly ask for that option.

Hi all! How are you guys!!!!!!!! Please.... I hope to help with this idea and concept here that I propose:

  1. If you have a lot of bookmarks, it would be best to have bookmarks grouped by website domain. Thus, all bookmarks are grouped in specific folders... which reduces the overall volume of bookmarks...
  2. But this is not an efficient method, it would also be necessary if I want to customize icons since not every site has a favicon which hinders the search for a particular bookmark
  3. That's why I think it's interesting to have this resource here that you're proposing, part of what you're guys proposing can help what I'm thinking at the moment

I could be even simpler: having no folder image could do the trick. The bookmark button would be just the name/icon/emoji the user gave it (using a space for the name could be an easy way to make a hidden bookmark).
