Status: New idea

Dear developers,

I am writing to suggest removing notification in the address bar, when the new tab is controlled by third-party add-on. This notification is annoying and does not add aesthetic value to the new page. Alternatively (if this suggestion is against some intrinsic Firefox philosophy) it would be good to have an opportunity to use custom wallpapers in both desktop and mobile versions. If implemented, it would be nice if tabs were semi-transparent and changed their color hue based on current wallpaper (similar to Yandex Browser).

Thanks for submitting an idea to the Mozilla Connect community! Your idea is now open to votes (aka kudos) and comments.

Per the Ideas Guidelines, please submit 'One idea per post.' This helps properly highlight each idea and keeps the conversation focused.

An idea for custom wallpapers has already been posted here: Wallpaper in new tab

We encourage you to add your kudos and input to that thread. The more details, the better—this always helps our product teams when they are reviewing everything.

Thank you!

Making moves

I am no expert at this, but by using some CSS it could be possible to change how the Tabs bar, Toolbar and Address bar look.

Perhaps someone with more experience on this matter could help you further...
