I want it back. You obviously don't wear bifocals. The people that put it there, obviously did.

Before you screw with something on a whim, please do your homework.

At some point in time, several ( a lot ) people got together and said that it would be nice to put a search bar right in the middle of were their bifocals focus. That eliminates having to keep bouncing our eyes from were the frequently used bar should be, to way up at the top of the page were seldom used, known addresses could go.

I absolutely abhor dealing with people that do things , just to justify their existence. Please "check the history" behind things. It would saved so many screw ups. This is not brain science. It is common sense.
