New idea
as I am using Thunderbird I recognized that whilst editing an e_mail, I was not able to test an inserted link in draft mode. in 'sent items' though the link is at least click- and testable. I preferred to test the inserted link, for example by 'ctrl + click' already in writing mode.
Only a suggestion, pls. excuse my English.
