Hello,

First of all, I want to congratulate the K-9 Mail and Thunderbird teams for their excellent work on the Thunderbird Android application. The merging of your expertise has resulted in a highly promising and quality tool for managing emails on mobile devices.

I wanted to ask a question regarding the display of IMAP folders in the application. Currently, these folders are listed in a flat structure with an IMAP prefix, without reflecting their hierarchical organization. This presentation can be less intuitive for users managing numerous folders and subfolders.

Is an improvement in this display, to better reflect the hierarchical structure of IMAP folders, being considered? If so, could you share an estimated timeline for its implementation?

Thank you in advance for your response, and please let me know if any additional information is needed.

Best regards,

Strollin' around

Hello

Having used Maildroid for years, alongside Thunderbird on Linux, Mac and Windows desktops, I'm a recent convert to Thunderbird Mobile, and I'm very impressed.

However, I have over 5,000 IMAP folders, and the way that Thunderbird Mobile displays them linearly is not usable/accessible. I remember trying K-9 years ago and rejecting it for the same reason.

Please consider this an up-vote to adding hierarchical folders, with expand/collapse, bringing TM in line with Thunderbird Desktop?

Unfortunately I don't have the coding skills to volunteer on this.

Thanks Jonathan.
