Example of an issue: I'll search a webpage 20 times and then visit a different webpage once or twice and that second webpage will then remain in the shortcuts and no sign of the former webpage at all.

The algorithm ismessed up, is what I'm saying.

I want it to actually display relevant webpages for me and have emphasis on the webpages I visit most.

Without pinning webpages, this function is almost entirely useless.

I have deleted all history (including cookies and cache, etc) and tried anew but to no avail.

This function needs to be fixed as I would like to actually be able to use it.

Thanks for any consideration.

I believe they currently use a heuristic of recency and frequency (often called frecency) in order to rank shortcuts. This means that sites you don't visit often but have visited recently will get a spot, and websites that you visited frequently but not recently will too. Websites that you visit frequently and also visited recently will get the highest ranking.
