Hello !

It would be great if Firefox had native support for the Linux global menu. I don't know exactly how it works but in KDE at least the global menu is not supported by Firefox, whereas a lot of other apps now support it fine. Perhaps there is a reason why this hasn't been implemented yet, I would love to know.

Thanks ! 🙂

Many Linux DEs (including MATE, XFCE and KDE) support global menus and Firefox is the only browser that doesn't support them (today Waterfox offers this functionality. Mozilla could and should implement this both in Firefox and Thunderbird!)

I agree, it is annoying when pressing alt moves the whole page down instead of utilising the native menu bar

Fully agree, a fix would be most welcome!
