Strollin' around
Status: New idea

I just signed up for Firefox Relay. I like being able to create email aliases to cut down on spam/hide my email address. I would like to be able to choose which of my emails the alias forwards to. Say if I have a google, Microsoft, and proton email. I would like to be able to select which email it forwards to vs. being always forced to send the aliases to the same account.

I understand this could be used to spam people, so having some sort of verification that you own the account when adding a new account would be necessary (i.e. send a verification code to the email etc)

Thanks! We've definitely thought about this, so your input helps us consider that it will be a good feature to add!

Really good idea for folks like me who have a specific email address to manage newsletters

This would be super helpful

Why is this still not implemented yet!
DuckDuckGo already did it. it's not really that hard to add

I'm sorry to say that this is another reason that I set up a custom addy.io instance and started moving away from Firefox Relay. Such an important feature, and should be prioritised.

edit: Well, this has been stuck in the moderation queue since September 2025. Not cool.

Was wondering if a feature liked this existed for relay. It's a shame it's been so long and this hasn't been implemented.

I think that this is really neat feature we're missing here, and does not sound really hard to implement.

I just signed up for Relay, and the first thing that struck me after a quick tour around the UI was the limitation of only one possible email for forwarding.

I find this quite a big constraint to what otherwise is a good idea.
