When you are on the last tab and swipe left (android) nothing happens. On the other tabs you swipe between tabs. So on the last tab, the left swipe could be to open a new tab.

Android app - swiping on the address bar opens new tab

Hi,

I love how in the Android app swiping left and right on the address bar let's me easily switch between tabs.

Would it be possible to make it so that swiping left on the address bar, if there's only one tab open or I've swiped through all of the opened ones, would open another empty tab? It'd be nice if the same type of tab opened (private for Private browsing, normal for Normal).

Thanks for making a great browser.

I prefer the idea of Swiping Up to open a new tab. This would not only keep swiping left/right for navigating currently open tabs, but would hypothetically free up use of the address bar for navigating the current tab (so, for example, if I use the address bar to access a tab in my collections, it won't open a new tab just to access that page, but it would if I deliberately opened a new tab first).
