Bring find bar to top with small width that doesn't take screen real estate. Like what Chrome and Edge does for years.

Hi all!

1. Problem/User stories:  As a user I would like the search bar to be on top instead of bottom, this harms my physical health - keeping my head (neck) down for too long causes back pain to avoid this, the correct posture would be to keep my head ( neck) above.

2. Reasons

  1. Ergonomics consists of the set of disciplines that study the organization of work do not qualify between humans and machines. This term originated from the Greek ergon, which means “work”, and nomos, which means “laws or rules”. The main objective of ergonomics is to develop and apply techniques for adapting elements of the work environment to the human being, with the objective of generating the worker's well-being and consequently increasing their productivity.
  2. So, Google Chrome, Brave all browsers have great ergonomics.  The search sidebar is always above.
  3. This redesign makes Firefox better in terms of users' physical health as in my case I spend hours reading scientific articles. And it needs to find certain information through the find feature.
  4. Someone else thought the same here:  https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/find-bar-find-in-page-at-top/idi-p/4833

3. Proof of concept - "Find bar above page content" in Google Chrome... example:

Is it possible rename this idea to start with like "Find bar above page content" so people are attracted to read it? The current title sounds a little intimidating.

@Anonymous I think it's better to not show uncommon options in the first look. They better to go inside a three dot more options to lower user headache.

@h_mortazavifarHi! How are you? I was thinking this: Hi! https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/find-bar-above-page-content-in-mozilla-firefox/idi-p/4347 - Here I show you some good reasons for the location bar to be at the top: reasons such as better ergonomics, in addition there is another reason why all browsers always leave the location bar at the top, for example, there is a pattern to be followed for a better experience for users - what I mean here is that there is a standard and we should use that there is a standard because it is the most used and the most common and it should be followed for a better experience for users - if Mozilla Firefox wants... I had created this topic before you created this topic... I wanted to merge these two topics: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/find-bar-find-in-page-at-top/idi-p/4833 and https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/find-bar-above-page-content-in-mozilla-firefox/idi-p/4347

Hi @Anonymous, I'm not a moderator so I can't merge threads. Maybe @Jon can take a look at whether it would make sense to do that in this case.
