Display only unopened Thunderbird mails

For me, it would be handy to be able to switch between showing all the mails in the Thunderbird Inbox and displaying only unopened mails.

Have you tried quick filters? One of them is to show only unread emails.

But of course, "unread" is not always equal to "unopened", as people can mark an opened email "unread" manually.
