Status: New idea

It currently takes 10 clicks to clear all private data and website data. How about a button on the first controls screen that does both? Privacy is one of the selling points of this browser after all. Don’t make it difficult.

Yes, that would be for me the greatest and most important update since years! We need such a button beside the button for settings upright ….. and/or insert a delete-automation-setting (every day/ every week/ every month)

thanks Sebastian 🙂

Strollin' around

Not for all of the data, but there is a button to delete recent data for up to last 24 hrs

I mean, it is already a thing? Just use "Forget" button. On the other hand, I feel the timespans it allows to select from are pretty weird. It'd be nicer to have it like this:

  • 15 minutes (5 minutes are really too short. Even Chrome devs changed it from 5 to 15)
  • 2 hours
  • 24 hours
  • 7 days
  • Custom... (opens a data input where you can select the date up to which all data should be clear)
  • Everything (shows an additional warning to stop data loss due to misclick)

In my case since the release 110, the forget button to delete some history clear all my cookies even if I choose to clear the last 5 minutes. That's annoying.
