Status: New idea

Idea: add an option to block the annoying "Sign in with Google" prompts that some sites (for example: https://chromestatus.com) use on the mobile versions of Firefox and Firefox Focus.

Reasoning: blocking those popups are easier on desktop as extensions like DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials do it automatically and Ublock origin does it but you have to type "||accounts.google.com/gsi/iframe/select$subdocument" (without quotes) into the my filters section, this isn't possible on Firefox Focus as Focus doesn't have any extensions and the "Block other content trackers" feature doesn't block them either.

Google Sign-in Pop-up Protection

Are you tired of the Sign in Google pop-ups? This could be a fix Firefox could include to increase user privacy and remove an annoyance. If a user actually wants to sign in with Google, they can, just without the immediate pop-up. If you sign into your Google account from these other sites, Google can then track your behavior and collect your data on those sites. I think adding this is an easy privacy and annoyance win.

They irritate the hell out of me. I despise Google and all they stand for. I try not to have anything to do with it, but that's very difficult. These pop-ups are like digital bullying.
