The new translate addon is really cool. I would like to see a feature for translating a highlighted word or phrase.
Flow: highlight word/phrase > right click > select "Translate '<word/phrase>'"
I think the simplest way to do this would be to copy the highlighted text into the popup window of the extension.

I have a PR up for this feature here: https://github.com/mozilla/firefox-translations/pull/615/commits/d5a7f8a78a5749448c79b89894ab66c241a...
It will ship in the next version, hopefully by January.
Here with some good news...
This was shared with our Engineering Team, and we're happy to report that it's being worked on and will be delivered soon. Check out @Andre_Natal's comment for more info and stay tuned for updates 😁
Please, Tell me, why do I have a Translator, do not work?
Awesome thank you so much @Jon @Andre_Natal
Firefox Translations translate selected text
It would be nice to be able to select some text and just right click and translate it. Not the entire website just some text. It seems like a pretty basic and easy feature.
(Note: a similar idea has been merged into this thread)
This is coming in the next version.
@JonFrom the looks of it. This has been delivered. Woot woot!
How's the development for the android addon?
