Thunderbird: Remove Threading when Subject changes

With email correspondence which goes back and forth for some time, the subject often changes.  But when I manually change the subject, the replies stay in the same thread.  I'd really like to have them in a new thread.  It would be easier to locate them if needed.

If you are wanting to change the subject,  try using edit as new instead of reply.  That removes threading information.

Hi,
The Message Menu (not the Edit menu) has "Edit as New," but it didn't work. I added to the Subject when re-sending the email, but the two emails threaded.
