Tablet Layout for Thunderbird for Android

I understand that your goal was to get Thunderbird on Android CELL PHONES (with very limited screen size) but I want it on my Fire Max 11 Tablet.  Clearly more screen size !  So I would like it to look more like the traditional Thunderbird with multiple columns.

1st column for accounts and folders.  Then multiple, sortable columns for Threading, Star, Attachments, Subject, Correspondents and Date.  Add/delete columns as the user wishes.

If this customization is available, I have not found it yet.

I agree! The current Thunderbird has only 2 columns to it, which doesn't fully utilize the horizontal space of a tablet. I hope that there are at least 3 columns, from left to right, accounts, inbox, and the mail content. In this case, we can enjoy higher flexibility of dealing with e-mails from different mailboxes.

And please make this feature optional, in case some users don't want it and want to disable it.
