Suggestion for Thunderbird to have Send Unsent button on Mail Toolbar

Background
Composed messages can be stored in the Outbox for later sending.

Standard Thunderbird (for a long time and also up to and including V115) has facilitated later sending via Send Unsent accessible from the File Menu or right click on the Outbox.

Past Evolution
Prior to V115 the Get/Send Button extension provided a Mail Toolbar button that would, with a single click, send unsent messages from the Outbox (as well as Get messages for the currently selected account). The Get/Send Button extension also provided a drop down list with more granular options, including Send All Unsent.

Get/Send Button is no longer supported with V115 (not surprising as much of its functionality has been incorporated into V115 - but not Send Unsent).

Thunderbird enhancement now requested to fill the gap left by demise of Get/Send Button
It would be much smoother and more consistent if Thunderbird could now incorporate a Send Unsent button that could be available for placing on the Mail Toolbar. I assume that this should be fairly straightforward as such a button would, surely, merely provide another path into the Send Unsent logic that is already provided.

This MUST be added in, you have broken the ld Addon for a Get/Send button, that we used all the time. Lots of people ar e'old school', and they like to have the emails in the Outbox, before manaully deciding whern to send them. Currently with 115 this is completely broken. When a message is written, and filed for 'send later' (in the outbox), it is marked as READ !!! this means there is no count next to the Outbox, so you have no reminder that there are messages waiting to be sent !

Yes please! Why not have an option to replace the "Get Messages" button by Get/Send messages?

Agreed! Count on Outbox should be brought back and since you broke the Get/Send extension at least give the ability to add a Send button, otherwise we have to go through the file menu every time a message needs to be sent. Apparently I'm not the only one not liking for an outgoing message to be sent immediately after composition and prefer to send manually at will. How difficult is to add a Send button.

Funny how getting something that you want and that would seem insignificant to someone else really brightens up ones day!

Thunderbird 115.2.3

Go to Tools/Add-ons and Themes
Search for:  Send Unsent Mail Button
Click Add To Thunderbird

It will show up at the far right of the Tool Bar. You can move it if you wish by Right Clicking next to Help on the Toolbar and click Customize. Now you can move the Button by dragging it to another location. When done click Save.

This button also has some additional options. To find them, once the button has been added. Go to Tools/Add-ons and Themes. Find Send Unsent Mail Button in the list and to the right click on the little Wrench.

I would like, more generally, for features not to be broken by upgrades (which seems to be happening frequently these days).
