Searchable PDF Content

I love firefox and I hate having to use Chrome but for work, I have to use it. I'm in payroll and often have to send over the payroll file before submitting it so that our finance director and our vp of hr can both sign off on it. They're able to do simple searches of names for people when I print the file into a PDF form. 

A few days ago while using firefox, I printed out the payroll file as a PDF and sent it over. They told me they couldn't search the content on the PDF. I instantly knew that it was the way that firefox was printing the content into the PDF file. 

Are you able to change this? It's huge for people that need to print files as PDFs and search things.

@falbois there an example file you could share with us? Maybe a file where you insert fake person information to avoid privacy problems.
