It would greatly improve workflow if Thunderbird offered a feature to show the most recently used files when clicking the “Attach” button in a new email.
Currently, users have to manually navigate through folders each time, which is time-consuming and interrupts productivity.
Proposed behavior:
When clicking “Attach”, Thunderbird displays a list of recently attached files at the top.
Users can quickly select files from this list without searching their directories.
Optional: a limit of 5–10 recent files to keep the list concise.
This feature would save time for teachers, office workers, and anyone who frequently attaches the same files in emails.
