Browsers like Brave Browser natively support IPFS, but Mozilla Firefox does not support it natively.

I also believe that implementing IPFS itself is only the first step.

I would also like to see a wallet with private keys to decrypt encrypted content in a legitimate wallet.
You can think of this type of "wallet" as a powerful offline password manager like KeePassXC, which should support:
- crypto wallet addresses, so we can exchange money for content
- private keys to decrypt IPFS content just for us.
- passwords for legacy communication with old services.

Also note that Firefox users don't use it for convenience. If we don't keep up with the times, users will soon switch native Web3 browsers.

Relatedly (don't ban me...) for those who don't know (since it hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet), there's a libre addon that provides this functionality for Firefox, called IPFS Companion. It works great but IPFS needs to be a first class feature.

But at this rate I definitely share the sentiment of joso997, &c. (I didn't @ because not really necessary...). Firefox needs to actually keep up with the times and "innovate" (if by innovate we mean keep pace) instead of continuously rearranging the UI and removing features and breaking addons.
