Minor gripe. Might need a better subject title.
When a download(s) is paused, the downloads icon remains the same (progress indicator). Therefore you can't tell whether the download is stuck, progressing (taking ages) or paused:
Maybe the indicator could flash, or show a II (paused) icon?
