Include the same about:configs as in Betterfox's Fastfox

In short, Firefox   is quite fast, but could be faster with Betterfox's Fastfox .js included by default. The settings don't break anything (as far as I know), and overall make Firefox faster than Chromium. Not only that but in theoretical tests (aka Speedometer 3.1), it's faster than Chromium. Highly recommend
