In the past hitting ESC caused Firefox to halt all functions.  It was very useful in situations where lag/poor site design caused clicks to perform unwanted actions.  It was also VERY useful when malicious sites start to flood the user with unwanted media, etc. Now, for some reason, if you click on something, ESC has no effect and the page continues to load no matter what.  It is almost as if ESC no longer interrupts the processes, but gets queued along with all the other actions being sent from the website. how can i explain this? current version is 97.0.2 a few versions back, maybe 94 maybe 95 maybe 90, i cant remember exactly, TAB icon changed... if i play a YouTube video on a Not Pinned Tab, displays a tiny Text: Playing. under Video Name. before: when Playing YouTube icon changed, much better, more intuitive, New Tiny Text in Tabs are impossible to read when there are multiple tabs. very hard to know what Tab is playing, when i have many pinned tabs. is there a way to disable that?   ... Main page icons (frequently accessed) have been replaced with boxes just containing capital letters. The new icons are not as easily recognisable as the icons normally associated with websites. Some don't reflect the name of the website at all. For example my bank's name starts with the letter T, but its web address starts with I. There's a reason websites choose icons - it's so they're easily recognised. Would love it if Mozilla could at least make those website icons available again, at least as an option. ... View more

Firefox has a very nifty feature which allows user to create a custom search engine form any link that consists of a query. User just needs to bookmark any search result page and replace one of the query parts with "%s" and give that bookmark a keyword. For example, if I bookmark "https://www.google.com/search?q=Firefox", but replace "Firefox" with "%s" and set its keyword to "/g", I can type "/g cat" to search for "cat" in Google. This feature is extremely helpful for anyone that is working with websites that did not create their search plugins. I think that this feature needs more attention and ability to create bookmarks with multiple variables instead of only %s. This could be done by allowing user to create multiple variables in a more complex http queries and add multiple keywords for a bookmark. This could work as below. User bookmarks url: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?q=test&advanced=true&collapse_discussion=true&search_type=thread&search_page_size=30. User replaces "test" and "30" with "%s" and "%s0". User sets keywords for said bookmark: 'moz; -p; and saves. If user types in the address bar: 'moz test -p 30 it will generate the same url as in point 1. There should be a limit to the number of variables per bookmark, but it should be set to 5 and editable by about:config. In case of using more variables, they would be represented in the url as: %s, %s0, %s1, %s2, and so on.   ... View more

Font: There are many of us out there who wish that the Body/Paragraph of an Email can be formatted in the same Font. Example: I choose Tahoma. However, when I click on Bullets, or otherwise alter an Email, it turns into different/mixed Fonts rather than keeping the Font all in Tahoma. Hello, Unfortunately, I have to uninstall your wonderful app. I am having problems with my Outlook account and my work account in particular: after 10 minutes, I no longer receive push notifications. I only receive them after 15 minutes, which is currently the minimum time for automatic synchronization. I need immediate emails for work reasons. I would like to continue using your app, but I need more options in the automatic synchronization menu (e.g., 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, etc.). I hope you take my feedback seriously. It would solve the problem of idle IMAP blocking push notifications (for people like me who cannot change the idle timeout on the router side). I'm using Firefox 147.03 on linux.  My suggestion is to add an additional option to when selecting page translation. There is a translation option to "Never translate this site", but no option to "Always translate this site". I regularly go to sites in Europe and find I have to repeatedly re-select translation as I navigate the site. My suggestion is different than the existing option to always translate a particular language everywhere it might be encountered. Rather this suggestion would allow users to specify just those web sites they want automatically translated. ... View more
