As Password Managers, we're continuously releasing our browser add-on for hundreds of thousands of Firefox users. We propose a solution to implement a gradual rollout of an approved version of an add-on, to allow developers to monitor upgrades and securely deliver updates to Firefox users, ensuring minimal negative impact in case of any unexpected behavior. When the incremental rollout of a new version of an add-on starts, only an adjustable percentage of users will receive the update. As the rollout progresses, all add-on users will eventually receive the update. (For example, we could start with 1% of existing and all new users, and monitor the impact of the roll-out, gradually increasing it to 5%, 10%, 50%, etc, until we reach 100%.) We believe that this proposed improvement would not only benefit us but will contribute to a smoother and more reliable experience for all Firefox users. I would love the ability to pin tabs on my Android. I have a number of tabs always open (news, weather, etc), and then I open all interesting items in new tabs. When done, I close those extra tabs, but often I close one of the "important" tabs by accident. If I could pin them, so that I would have to unpin them before closing, this would not happen. Idea: add a simple game that could be played if the user has no internet connection. Reasoning: Google Chrome has the T-Rex Game, Microsoft Edge has Surf, Vivaldi has Vivaldia. In the past there was a option to let firefox automatically accept cookiebanners but it downgraded to private mode only and not normal mode anymore. I would like to have the old version back that automatically accepts cookiebanners in normal mode and in private mode.   ... View more

There's no way to export messages from the console log in a way that preserves formatting and other metadata. In FF, all you can do is select all, copy, and paste into another file. Chrome lets you skip the copy/paste and can save to a new file directly, but it's still just plain text. When you accept an email invitation for an event while you have multiple calendars setup, you get a dialog which calendar to use for this event. But, this dialog may appear anywhere. In my case, it tends to appear on another screen than the one I was working on, in a corner. Not very visible. As the dialog is modal, the rest of the application becomes unresponsive to input.  The dialog should appear on the same screen and preferably overlaid on the window the action was triggered from, to improve the UI flow.  ... In Firefox 102, Firefox start to remove url tracking parameters. It has been several years (more like 10 years), while people have issues with multimedia playback and it's volume control on different platforms. (That problem does affect not only Linux users) If browser does not follow systems overall volume control or sound settings, for "whatever reason", this is NOT good behavior or programming. Multiple issues - or no sound at all ( autoplay enabled), or media playback reset to 100% volume in every tab/window refresh. Do you want to broke peoples speakers with 100% volume or just get onto nerves of users and neighbors or freak out cats' dogs by sudden loud volume??? Whatever OS users have, browser should follow systems VOLUME manager MASTER control. Whatever sound servers or volume control users do use, same applies -browser should be able to stay on user desired level. Currently - about:config parameters like: AudioIPC Server Loudness Normalization media.default_volume 0.5 media.cubeb.backend alsa have absolutely no effect whatever value they have. What is purpose of nonworking parameters in config??? So in brief, every other browser in world i have tried can manage simple audio playback.
