Hey team! I spend half my days with another monitor connected and the browser open full screen with devtools docked to the right of the page. This works great! However, I also spend a fair bit of time moving around with just my laptop. On those days, I'm usually having to expand/shrink the browser constantly to check out different things on a page or to have VSCode open next to it. I'm not a fan of the "Dock to bottom" on a full screen page so find myself constantly having to switch between "Dock to bottom" and "Dock to right" while I work. It's a very tiny but constant frustration. It would be awesome if you could add a "Responsive Dock" option which automatically switches between both as you change the width of the browser. To have a setting in the Firefox browser on desktop and mobile to use Ollama and to choose the Ollama API URL and port number to connect to an Ollama server. Ollama is becoming the FOSS AI manager tool. There are several clients that have already integrated Ollama into their apps. By having Ollama integration, users can choose from hundreds of LLMs and have them running on their desktop or a self hosted server at home and keep the AI data private and offline. Currently, ever single folder and sub-folder need to have the poll/push settings activated individually. Having a global "enable sync for all folders" or similar option, or alternatively having a switch with an "also sync sub-folders" option would be a huge QOL improvement.  If performance degradation for older7slower devices is a concern, such options can come with the necessary warnings (or even confirmation dialogues) about performance and RAM usage. When speaking about sub-folders, I am making the assumption that proper sub-folder handling (as partially shown in the V12 Beta version) will be implemented, of course. I accidentally move them all the time & I need to fix them after & that happen every single time, it is very easy instead of click on one of the tabs to move it around & that mess the order all the time, you need to add an option to lock the position so it would be impossible to move them by accident, I don't think that's hard to do so I hope you could patch this as soon as possible & save me from the daily headache of having to fix my tabs every day...  ... Thunderbird # already has a great support for VTODO VCALENDAR and contacts. What is missing though is support for VJOURNAL entries. Journals are close to calendar entries. A great vesoverview gives jtx Additionally they introduce "notes" which are simply journals without a date. The open source calDAV and cardDAV is a great way to share information between groups and family. Journals and notes would complete this sharing nicely. ... View more

When you create or recreate an HTTP request in the network tab, you cannot modify some of the headers or the cookies associated with the request. Hi. It seems some of the extensions I use aren't ready for the update to Thunderbird 140. Unfortunately, Thunderbird didn't warn me about this before updating. I managed to update most of them, but it would be great if TB could check compatibility before the update. The desktop version of the Firefox browser auto-detects search engine from pages and provide option to add the search engine easily. In the current mobile browser, one has to add search engine manually, and has to provide Search engine name, URL to use for search and Search suggestion API URL in their relative textboxes when adding a search engine. So, it would be nice to have auto-detection of search engine from page in Firefox mobile browser versions to quickly add a search engine. Starting release of Firefox 127.0 the “browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled” preference stopped working (I believe it was removed in the commit here: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/rMOZILLACENTRAL8adde2b08299cbe12d25785fcb0efdabb0057766) and now Firefox private and normal windows have their separate icon in the Windows taskbar. Could you restore that functionality? If not by bringing back the “browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled” preference on the about:config page, then e.g. add a new setting on the Firefox settings page that does the same thing. ... Currently, when Firefox is in private browsing mode, media integration only shows 'Firefox is playing media' instead of the actual video or song title. While I understand this is intentional for privacy reasons, it would be helpful to have an optional setting that allows media titles to display for programs that support media integration. Hi, Request/suggest that the "delete browsing data" feature (Android Mobile/Tablet) under settings gets moved to the front top of the controls (ellipsis) - maybe between "desktop site" and "Extensions". Maybe just a sub-feature to be able to quickly delete "cookies/data" "cached images/files"... please! Reasoning: As a Developer Testing, Windows "Shift Ctrl Del" is great, but on "Mobile/Tablet" - the keyboard isn't readily available - so, (click) Ellipses, > (click) settings > scroll (scroll, scroll) > (click) Delete Data > (click) Okay > back > back. A recent update removed a great feature. On Desktop Firefox, I used to be able to open the Tabs From Other Devices Sidebar, and right click on (say) Pixel 7 > Open All Tabs. This has been removed recently and I can only left click a device to collapse all tabs underneath it.  This was a really good feature. It was the quickest and most reliable way to move dozens of tabs from mobile to desktop. I can still push, not pull (i.e. on mobile select all tabs > share > Firefox Desktop) but this is very unreliable. They only push 3-4 at a time, and recently I pushed ~ 80 tabs but only 40 arrived, which I realised after closing (I'm now manually reconciling tabs to ensure they made it which is ridiculous). ...
