Addresses with a "plus" element in the left hand side, a.k.a. sub-addresses, are effectively the same as the address without (the "naked" address), e.g. A.Non+Mozilla@example.com is equivalent to A.Non@example.com. Thunderbird should handle this intelligently, including some or all of associate any "plus" address with the corresponding account and/or contact, display the "plus" address as the "naked" address with a visually distinct label containing the "plus" element, reply to email sent to a "plus" address From that "plus" address, add an interface to simplify adding, removing or changing a "plus" element in the composer, and automate tagging and moving messages to folders based on the "plus" element. Handling replies may be tricky as senders will sometimes strip the name and change the case of the address. Ideally the address would be constructed as configured for the account with the addition of the plus element which can be easily edited in the composer. For instance, a reply to a.non+mozilla@example.com would be From: Another Non <A.Non+mozilla@example.com> with the composer providing an easy method to change mozilla to Mozilla (or anything else).

I mainly want want bookmarks for having to reboot my computer. I may have more than 1 Firefox window open. For each window, I would like to easily save ALL the bookmarks in that window to a name I choose. After I reboot, Open Firefox, choose that name, and ALL get reloaded for that name, into that window. I think that your bookmarks is NOT easy to use or to understand, and it seems to ONLY work for bookmarking 1 tab at a time. If I have a Firefox window with 8 tabs, I need to do 8 bookmarks to save, and 8 to later reload them. While this is maybe a good way for many things (and you SHOULD keep it), It is just a hassle for me.

I would love the ability to drag & drop tasks from the sidebar into the calendar view to create automatically an event out of the task at the pointed time. I use time blocking as a method. And this feature would really speed up the process.

I use Firefox a lot to read PDF documents. Firefox contrast control mode with custom settings helps to change my PDF view to pitch black with white texts, which is perfect for me when viewing PDFS, but it makes all websites I visit very difficult to navigate and use. I'm requesting that there be an option to enable contrast mode for specific tabs or at least as an option when viewing PDF files.

When I right-click an image, the context menu opens with an option to set the image as a desktop background. For almost all web images, this action makes no sense whatsoever, and for the others, I personally never want to use it. `about:config` should have a setting to disable/hide this context menu action.

i have switched from chrome since past 1 month and firefox is just better. the only thing i did not find easy is the option for having multiple profiles to be used at ease, could be better if there was one to easily access seperate profiles for work and home

When Press Ctrl+H, in the hide Side-Bar, and right click random site the context menu offer less options than older layout. Old Layout options missing: Forget about this site; Copy; Open in container tab. Suggest reimplementation.

There's a message about only installing add-ons if you trust them, but there's no way to actually review the add-on. You can't even download it and open it in your archive manager without first installing and running it in Firefox. Add-ons have their code implicitly readable by their nature. The website should have an option to explore the files and read the contents.

I use Thunderbird for all my work email, but have been burned multiple times by missing unread email when using thread view because Tbird does not boldface threads with unread messages: only the individual messages when you open the thread. So I have to click on all the > to check for unread messages, and have had problems with my workflow when forgetting to do this or missing something. Simple solution: Closed threads inherit unread status and hence boldfacing if that is used to mark unread messages. Can be generalized to other attributes of messages in the thread that require noticing.

As per https://github.com/thunderbird/thunderbird-android/issues/935 Identity selection could be enhanced to make life a lot easier for people who have a catch-all domain, similar to how Thunderbird allows customizing the sender. Identity selection should be : -free to edit and modify when writing a message (more or less as the recipient field currently is) -automatically set with the best value guessed from the recipient values, when replying. This would be a great feature to differentiate K9 mail from other rigid email clients.

I would like to see is the ability to have subgroups. Example, I want to group all tabs related to landscape ideas I am looking to do at my house, but I want to group tabs that relate to different ideas. LANDSCAPE (group) - FLOWERS (subgroup) - PLANTS (subgroup) - TREES (subgroup).

Firefox should write his configuration in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME or $HOME/.config instead of $HOME/.mozilla https://specifications.freedesktop.org/basedir-spec/latest/

Add to stored password records -- and to the [Add password] dialogue -- a field entitled "Notes" in which the user can store important information related to the given URL. For example, a "Notes" field for a credit-card password could store the credit-card's security code (CVC) and the fee that the bank charges for cash advances. The capacity of the suggested "Notes" field should be about 500 characters.
