Hello! When you right-click a video player in Firefox, there is a menu which offers the options Read, Mute, Speed, Loop, Full screen, etc... It would be nice to be able to personalize that menu in the settings, to hide options I never use or to add new ones. For example, 'subtitles', 'download subtitles', 'color filter', 'mirror mode (flipped horizontally)' or 'share along with current playback time'. Particularly in the nested 'Speed' menu: it would be great if there was a 0.75x or 0.25x option, or even an option to set a custom speed. Also, there is no menu at all when you right-click on a video in 'separate window' (embedded picture-in-picture?) mode. Final remark: 'Ask [AI name]' seems to be an useless option for videos because it sends a blank selection (same for images). Thanks 🙂

Please consider implementing a feature to transfer a tab group between profiles in Mozilla Firefox. For example, from "Profile A", a user could right-click on "Group X" and be given the option to move or copy that group to another profile. Suggested context menu entries: Move group to profile: Profile B Copy group to profile: Profile B

Please let me work productive! If I double click on an entry in my calender, I normally "WANT TO EDIT IT" - usually? For the times, I just want to see the details of the entry, no problem, I can just hover with my mouse to see them! And if I double click, I will see the details anyways. But often I have to change the entries and that means (specially on a two screen solution, to first find the requester, click on "edit" and then find the next window and start editing. I find it nerve wrecking ( I was used to open the edit window just with a double click! Please go directly to the "edit entry" window, instead. Thats my suggestion ( and that's how it was a while ago) Thanks a lot Rishi

sending encrypted mail fails with following error message: Sending of the message failed. You specified that this message should be digitally signed, but the application either failed to find the signing certificate specified in your Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings, or the certificate has expired. I use a OPENGPG key - not a certificate, never ever owned a certificate. Thunderbird ESR works fine with same configuration. Cheers

If you reply to a reply, the first original message will be removed. This shouldn't be done, or there should be an option to keep all original messages.

The font slider in pdf editor is a big pain. It doesn't give feedback on the font size and is not intuitive at all. The slider should be replaced with a text input where we can input a number. This makes it consistent to use. This also applies to all other sliders in the pdf editor. Also the color input can be a color selector. This feature alone can make firefox replace some pdf editors out there completely

Noticed the "new" tab group functionality. Now that I have way too many tabs open I need tab groups..adding a new tab to a tab group would be easier if i didn't have to expand the tab group first...can i just add the tab to the tab group (colored square) without expanding it? thanks.

Currently, in the Firefox history panel, each history item has a × (delete) icon, allowing users to remove entries individually. However, when performing a search within the history, the × icon does not appear next to the results, making it impossible to delete specific items directly from the search view

Hello! I hope that you are doing well. So, I recently switched back to firefox and wanted to use vertical tabs as I got used to it in the zen browser, and I wanted to support firefox as it's the only viable non-google browser in the market. But then I found that you have to manually click in order to collapse the vertical tabs and vice versa. In the Zen browser, which is still in beta, has a feature in which you just right click on any whitespace on the vertical tabs and enable compact mode. This adds a slide in and out functionality in which when you point your cursor near the left side or close to the vertical tabs, it automatically slides out and when I point the mouse away to the webpage it automatically collapses, thus providing more focus on the content and adding convenience rather than having to click on the collapse option in firefox. I have multiple computers on a Mozilla account. I sync history, tabs, etc. It'd be pretty cool if columns for the computer and user were added to an appropriate table in places.sqlite. When I search or browse history, generally I'm looking for only my history, not history from other users. And, of course, improve the history dialog to include a filter for such. That would allow me to find/reopen tabs that, for whatever reason, failed to reopen on relaunch of FF. Thanks for reading.

My idea is to adapt the design to the new iOS 26 interface and make a lot of transparent objects with cool animations. To please the audience that wants to use the previous design (i.e. the one that is now), make it possible to change designs in the "appearance" column. P.s. the new design is also nice, but I want to continue using only firefox, not safari. Your browser has a lot of nice things that make it easier to use, so I think you should promote yourself through design, because good design + privacy + user experience = the browser we all need

I want a simple way to combine two sets of bookmarks without losing any. A straightforward idea, but I can't find any information about this for Mozilla. I have one device with bookmarks and a Mozilla account. I have a second device with bookmarks, but without a Mozilla account. I want a way to combine the two lists of bookmarks without fear of losing some of them. I don't know if this is a new idea, because I can't find anything that explains what might happen if I try. I could try logging into Mozilla on the second device and syncing the bookmarks, but that might delete one set of bookmarks or the other. I could try exporting with sync and uploading to the other device, but that might delete one set or the other. It's really shocking that there is no information anywhere about how this would work. I've searched everywhere.

Hi Firefox team, Firefox currently supports basic backdrop-filter like blur(), but lacks support for SVG filters via backdrop-filter: url(#filter). This limits advanced effects like the “liquid glass” seen in Chrome and Safari. Adding SVG filter support on backdrop-filter would enable richer glassmorphism effects and improve cross-browser consistency. Thanks for considering this!

Implement a toggleable option to make the search widget on mobile open a separate instance dedicated for that search, or a tab that closes itself after closing the app. (meaning the firefox app needing to be for example, cleared from the open apps tab present on the majority of android phones) This feature would be intended for quick searches that dont need to linger on open tabs, much like the current search widget for the google app on android.

I really like the Microsoft Edge Drop feature. It's amazing to have a chat with yourself where you can send links, files, notes or anything else to yourself. Especially when trying to remember something on every device using a browser or when trying to send files/links/notes across devices quickly

Hello All, I think it would be beneficial to have the option to secure your private tabs with a password or biometric login. Why Firefox doesn't already have this is beyond me as other browsers have this ability already baked into them.

On my foldable phone (Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5) it would be very helpful to have the option to only show the split-screen view for the mails if the phone is unfolded. Right now there are only options to always/never/in landscape turn split-screen on, so the app is either very stretched on the inner screen or very cramped on the outer screen, depending on the option. Especially the outer screen is very hard to use. See Screenshot.

Can the Clear Local Messages functionality, currently available on individual folders be replicated at the account level? I have finally moved on from K9 v5.6 to the current Thunderbird release. Great to see the UI & workflow improvements particularly with the account lists. However....... I really miss the Clear Local Messages function at the account level - i.e. ability to clear all local message from all folders for an account. The current process of going though each individual folder (even the most basic: inbox/sent/trash) is laborious & time-consuming. I see that the 'Remove Account' function from K9 has been replicated in the 3-dot menu for Account Settings. This would be a good place to have the Clear Local Messages function for each account. Reason I find this useful - I use my android devices for temporarily accessing email when away from my main computer. My android devices are set not to delete items on the server and not to sync server deletions. My main computer is set to download & delete from the server. I use this arrangement so I can retain local copies of some emails if required e.g. whilst traveling for a period, i.e. I can have local copies of travel itineraries, tickets etc which remain even after my main computer has done a download & delete on the server. Once I return to my main computer I no longer need the local copies & they can be deleted, along with any other local copies of received or sent emails.
