When clicking the Library button and then Bookmarks, a list of recently added bookmarks is displayed. Recent bookmarks are useful when a bookmark was accidentally saved in the wrong folder and cannot be found. However, I prefer having separate Bookmarks and History buttons on the toolbar without the library button (and Firefox allows to customize the toolbar according to personal preferences), but the standalone Bookmarks button dropdown lacks recent bookmarks. In a message list, an email will show 3 chunks of text: sender, subject, and preview. The preview text should appear on its own separate line, for readability and glancability. Currently, it appears on the same line as the subject (I have it set to show sender above subject). I will frequently get emails from the same sender and subject line, meaning the preview lines are the only way to differentiate the emails -- it is tricky to scan through the email list when the preview text potentially appears part way along a line and sometimes part way along the 4th+ line if it has a long subject. It is easy to identify the preview text for an unread message (due to bold sender/subject), but this is not easy with "read" messages. In the message list view, change the colour of the date/time to be a different colour; perhaps blue (similar to Outlook or Edison) or customisable. This will make seeing unread emails at a glance easier. The current option to have a different colour background for a message in the list, especially in dark mode, looks clunky, dated, and (in my experience, most importantly) messes with my ability to smoothly read the list of mixed read/unread messages.   ... Bookmarks on mobile keep getting saved to different folders all the time and there is no way to set a default bookmark folder! Also the way to change/edit bookmark for a site is too difficult! I have to select a folder first then press back and then press the tickmark button! Something a non tech savvy person won't do! So pls improve mobile bookmarks! I like to keep many important emails in the Local Folder.  But, I want to keep them in my inbox to view on various devices for a while, so I can't just move them on receipt.  I currently do this with manually run message filters, but I have more than 30, and each has to be be individually run.  It takes a lot of time. As a alternate, if there were a choice to have a filter run automatically after a time delay from receipt, 14 days, for example, it would really help make it easier to keep my inbox manageable.  This feature would also be helpful in deleting "useful" ads (e.g. Target, JC Penny) ... I have added my banking site and github to extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains, to ensure a rouge extension cannot steal sessions cookies from there. Unfortunately I have discovered that when I use a subdomain (gist.github.com), firefox will happily give the extensions access to my sessions cookies. This seems like an oversight. I believe it should restrict all subdomains on a site or at least allow wildcards, to properly lock down firefox, like *.github.com. Would also be cool if you could explicitly blacklist and whitelist certain sites on a global or per extension basis. Especially since extensions now have 1000s of dependencies and are increasingly becoming an attack vector. ... View more

Currently the Firefox desktop Settings or the "about:preferences" page have certain settings categorized. I believe this should be removed and have all settings place on a single page. The issue is the extreme differences in the six categorizes present. "Sync" & "More from Mozilla" side-tab can easily fit into one page. Next in size is "Home" & "Search", while the last two largest side-tabs, "General" & "Privacy & Security", are no where near the previous two sizes. Lots of scrolling and searching can be reduced in categories that seem incorrect to the setting can be avoided if the option is given to let the user decide. ... View more
