I have added my banking site and github to extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains, to ensure a rouge extension cannot steal sessions cookies from there. Unfortunately I have discovered that when I use a subdomain (gist.github.com), firefox will happily give the extensions access to my sessions cookies. This seems like an oversight. I believe it should restrict all subdomains on a site or at least allow wildcards, to properly lock down firefox, like *.github.com. Would also be cool if you could explicitly blacklist and whitelist certain sites on a global or per extension basis. Especially since extensions now have 1000s of dependencies and are increasingly becoming an attack vector. ... View more

Currently the Firefox desktop Settings or the "about:preferences" page have certain settings categorized. I believe this should be removed and have all settings place on a single page. The issue is the extreme differences in the six categorizes present. "Sync" & "More from Mozilla" side-tab can easily fit into one page. Next in size is "Home" & "Search", while the last two largest side-tabs, "General" & "Privacy & Security", are no where near the previous two sizes. Lots of scrolling and searching can be reduced in categories that seem incorrect to the setting can be avoided if the option is given to let the user decide. ... View more

Hello Firefox Team, I’d like to suggest adding a built-in option in Firefox (Stable version) to easily disable WebRTC through the main Settings menu or via a toggle button. Currently, the only way to disable WebRTC is through about:config by modifying media.peerconnection.enabled, which is not available or accessible in all stable builds, especially on mobile platforms. Given the growing concerns around IP leaks, privacy and user control, it would be very helpful to have a user-friendly way to turn WebRTC off without diving into advanced configuration. This would: Enhance privacy for non-technical users Reduce reliance on third-party extensions Be consistent with Firefox’s strong privacy-focused reputation Thank you for considering this feature! A great feature of Gmail is that for each email in the list of emails, it displays the list of gmail labels attached to that email.   I know that TB translates the gmail labels into folders, but with this additional facility, I'd be able to instantly see, as I can on the Gmail web site and in some other clients such as eM Client for Windows, all the Gmail labels associated with an email.   There is an add-on, Gmail Labels, but it doesn't work properly until you actually display one of the folders in which an email appears, and it is very slow.  I use eM Client a lot purely because of this feature and it would be a really excellent addition to Thunderbird.   Please do consider this suggestion.   Thank you,     Wilf ... Would be great to have a button that allows us to quickly show/hide the "Other Bookmarks" bar on Firefox  browser for Desktops. Even better: the bar could show in multiple lines so that we can add even more bookmarks to it. Maybe an "autohide/show" function could work, but it looks like an easily accessible button to trigger it would do an even better job. We would benefit from a more free/clean space (quickly hiding the bar) and a better functionality/user experience (with multiple lines). ... Hello, When the Thunderbird Calendar is used for scheduling an event with invitees, one can send out invitations. The invitees also get automatically notified if the event is canceled or rescheduled. However, the e-mail text sent out to the participants only ever contains "X hast invited you to ZY Event". If e.g. an event is rescheduled, it usually warrants an explanation that I would like to be able to put in this e-mail body, but there seems to be no way to customize the message. Restore the "Forget About This Site" feature to the History Side Bar. Deleting multiple pages from history is tedious with the sidebar update. There are no options to delete all, select multiple, or delete by site. When you popup a tab with the donation suggestion, and the user is already typing an email that they're writing, or something else, it's likely to disrupt them and cause them to annoyedly close the window. Pop it up on boot or nothing. This sort of thing, much like the firefox 'congratulations, you're on a new version' is very confusing to newcomers and computer illiterate types, who I work with. You used to be able to "suggest" colors to use, but allow websites to override them. For example, I could have a bright green background set as a preference, but allow the website to override that preference. This allows a developer to determine if they have properly defined all their colors more easily.  I've attached an image of how it used to work: if the site defined colors, Firefox would use them, but if they did not, you would get the user preference (in the case, green and red for bg and fg colors).
