I used Thunderbird to sync an academic email using Google Classroom as backend and once the course was over and the email deactivated, I disabled sync in Thunderbird for that account so that I have a backup of my emails. The problem is the Calendar is still attempting to sync and showing an annoying Google sign-in window on each launch with no clear option to disable that specific account. An option to control calendar sync (and combining it with email sync) from the account management view would be very useful for scenarios such as these. ... View more

Firefox had the feature to explicitly search for tabs using a prepending `%　` in the search/address bar for a while. Additionally, when typing into the search/address bar, open tabs are indexed and presented as search entries.  However, there is no functionality like using ctrl/cmd+shift+A in Chrome/Edge where the user may initiate an explicit tab search with one input event. It would currently take at least three inputs ([Ctrl+L], [%],[space]) to start an explicit tab search on keyboard, or two ([List all tabs] icon → [Search tabs]) on mouse. If someone uses tab search a lot, it makes sense to be able to replace the default web search engine with local tab search so an explicit tab search only takes [Ctrl+L] just like someone else may prefer to use that shortcut to do web search. ... In the Bookmarks toolbar (when full), in the "show more bookmarks" panel. It would be better not to hide the panel menu when you middle-click or open a bookmark in a new tab. Because if we want to open multiples bookmarks in the panel, we have to click on the tiny arrow to display it again each time for it to be display again. The full screen option on the address bar dropdown menu is too close to the zoom out button. It is too easy to hit full screen when trying to zoom out. Very annoying, Better to move the full screen icon to its own line in the menu. ... View more

Thunderbird, Windows. It would be nice to be able to duplicate a calendar event by dragging it while holding Alt. When I do this now, there is a '+' sign that appears on the cursor as if to signify it will be added, but then it only moves the event,  not duplicates it. Beside each extension, users have to click the three dots, click "Move Up" (or down), and then do it again to move it down another row. Hi! Please provide a way to combine messages into thread by dragging & dropping message(s) onto another in the message list.  Currently messages combine into a thread based on the Subject; but I often want to keep messages with different titles into one. In the attached screen snip, there are 3 messages regarding a shipment from ebay.  They have 3 different titles, since they are from 3 different origins.  I want to drop messages "B" and "C" (either one at a time or if I multi-select "B" and "C" they can both be dropped in one motion. Once dropped on "A", "B" and "C" would disappear from the message list, and "A" would get the ">" arrow so I can expand to see all the related emails.  As new emails arrive on the subject I could either drag "A" (with "B" & "C" inside) onto the new message OR I could drop the new message onto "A".  Either way, all the messages related to this shipment would be kept together. One of the things MS does now in File Explorer is, when a file is selected to be renamed, only the "name" portion of the file is highlighted (left of the ".") to be changed. The .extension portion is not highlighted. This is a big time saver as it reduces clicks and cursor postioning. When I save a file in the browser and need to rename it, the entire filename is highlighted, thus extra clicks and cursor positioning is required to highlight only the name portion to be changed. Please modify this functionality in Mozilla products to be consistent with the way Windows File Explorer handles it as it is a big time saver when renaming files. Thank you! ... View more

Hi, it is been a while since Firefox  extensions have been updated after a long time that they have been released. Let me give you some examples: Bitwarden 2025.1.2 released on January 25, 2025 but on Firefox there is version 2024.12.4 released on December 27, 2024. 1Password 8.10.58 released on January 21, 2025 but on Firefox there is version 8.10.56 released on December 12, 2024. Privacy Badger 2025.1.17 released on January 14, 2025 but on Firefox there is version 2024.7.17 released on July 17, 2024. The versions match those at the time of writing. Other extensions are not updated on a regular basis. Can you make sure that the extensions are updated regularly, with at most a couple of days difference? Thank you ... View more
