I use Firefox on both my PC and my mobile Android device. I primarily browse and search via my mobile device since it's convenient to search for something and start reading about it on the go; more often than not coming back to that browsing tab but on my PC - where my IDE is located. Gone are the days where I have to type the URL from the mobile into my PC browser - simply fetch them via the nifty menu where my mobile's browsing tabs are shown. This is awesome - if you're going to open one tab. Sometimes I have 6 or more tabs with content related to my search that I want to display on my PC browser. How? Well, you have to open a tab then go fetch the open tab I'm interested in. Open another tab and fetch the next open tab from my mobile. Open yet another tab and fetch the third open tab. And on we go. Not very efficient. It would be great if one could open multiple tabs by using a context-menu that allows you to quickly right-click and Open In New Tab for each entry we would like to restore. Or give the user some option that allows them to choose which open tabs from the chosen device they would like to restore.  ... View more

The vertical tab experience is pretty good atm, but one thing really annoys me is that it won't keep scroll position between mouseover when you enabled the feature "expand on mouseover"! it would just jump back to the top, and I've mis-clicked other tabs many times, pretty annoying! Hope it would just keep where it scrolls to when mouse leaves, and the I can just click the tab I want without wait it to expand and scroll back again. ... View more

It looks to me like the date sorting in Thunderbird is being sorted as a text string. This is total lame. ALL dates should be converted to a sortable date type in the following format no matter how they are displayed to the user in the UI: YYYYMMDDHHMMSS 4 digit year forced 2 digit month and then the 2 digit day then the hour in the 24 hours format. Only when using this format can dates be reliably sorted ascending or descending order. ALL of the dates in the email objects, received, send or what ever should be stored in this format for sorting. What I have seen is not usable in its current form. If this is configurable in Thunderbird I have NOT found it. (but this format should NOT be configurable for the purpose of the sorting logic because anything else makes NO sense) ... View more

The lateral panel has a function - either open or closed by pressing the cross, it would be nice to add that the panel would hide and appear when the mouse supply, as in the RocketDock program, so that it does not take a place on the screen. Please consider adding an option to back up manually modified about:config preferences as part of the Firefox Sync profile. Many advanced users tweak these settings to improve performance, privacy, or compatibility. However, these changes are not currently synced across devices or restored after reinstalling the browser. A monthly automatic snapshot, or manual export/import feature, would be very helpful for power users. Atualmente ao pressionar o atalho 'Ctrl + B' é aberto uma aba lateral com os favoritos. Mas esse atalho, e um padrão para componentes de text-areas, ao pressionar o mesmo, ele deixa o trecho selecionado em 'negrito'. Durante desenvolvimento, acredito ser válido a ideia de alterar o atalho da barra de favoritos, deixando assim melhor a experiência do desenvolvedor, na etapa de testes. It would be nice if you would do security updates and browser updates separately. I only care about security issues...the other stuff you do is just annoying. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I would like security updates though. Right now I'm stuck at 99.1 because I read about the new stuff with the new updates and no way. At present when dragging to resize the main firefox window, the toolbox search box and URL bar resize in a smooth progression, which is great. However if you make the window quite narrow i.e. dragging the right edge over to the left, then what happens is some of the add-on toolbar icons are hidden to make room. This happens instantly and so has the effect of then resizing the search box and URL bar again, the combined effect is that as you drag the window to be smaller or larger everything jolts left and right as if having some kind of seizure as different icons appear/disappear. I don't know what the best solution to this would be, but there must be a better way. Maybe a flexible space that uses up the equivalent of one icon that will squeeze and expand such that removing an icon will never suddenly make the search box and URL bar larger, so you then have a smoother change in size. It has already been brought here the idea of being possible to close a tab (when vertical side bar is collapsed) without having to expand it, which, by the way, is an excellent one. Another thing I find important, is not to allow, when vertical side bar is collapsed, to the upper right close windows button (x), once clicked, to close at once all tabs and the browser. Should be some confirmation (close all tabs?). Thing is it is kind intuitive to hit that close button to close the active tab. For example, I have too many recipe tabs open. Let me create a tab for recipes and put them all in there and let the main recipe tab function like a drop down menu. I realize this is very similar to bookmarks, but for me, things have a tendency to get put there for future reference and are often forgotten and lost there.  In order to access sites in bookmarks, I've got to go to bookmarks/manage bookmarks  and then I'm thrown into a separate window from the browser. A management company works with dozens of client certificates to access different websites. The Firefox selector only allows you to locate the certificate to use by typing the first letter in the certificate drop-down list. Hi, I created a video call component that works on a website in the browser using LiveKit, but since these libraries are not supported in Firefox, I cannot add a blur effect or background image to the video background. You can use hashes to confirm the integrity of inline <script>s by adding them to the Content Security Policy (CSP) header of the page. If the CSP header is used but a script is not allowed, because the hash is missing (or wrong), an error message is shown in the dev tools' console. In Firefox it looks like this: Content-Security-Policy: The page’s settings blocked an inline script (script-src-elem) from being executed because it violates the following directive: "script-src 'self' 'sha256-N0WgDOqcdfL9w1uP613+B2yu6dpc5KPYLXeb9XHepPc=' https://*.googletagmanager.com " It's hard to find out the correct hash for an inline script. While in chrome browser (android) when i type something in the address bar like "shah" it gives me suggestions "Shahrukh Khan" also brief intro "Indian actor and producer" as well as associated brief image or when i type "interst" it gives an suggestion "interstellar" 2014 movie as well as a brief image. But this feature is missing in Firefox android. When i type "shah" it just gives suggestion "Shahrukh Khan" as a plain text, i tried multiple search engines but this remains same. This feature is also present in browsers other than chrome, like lemur, kiwi browser, opera etc. How can i get the same chrome functionality in Firefox, or is there an extension that can do it. I'm liking the sidebar/vertical tabs update, but something that bothers me is that it's fixed on the left side of the screen. I'm using 2 monitors and when Firefox is on the right monitor, I often overshoot when pointing the mouse to the tab which I want to go to or close. I think it would make a lot more sense for the sidebar to be able to lock to the right side of the screen as an option. When the sidebar is collapses, the close button for the tab is on the top left of it's icon which makes no sense as a windows user. The close buttons for all windows are on the top right always. When docked on screen right, the close button would be easier to reach. Overall, the design would be more "synergistical". ... View more

There should be an option to use MMB to open up a history card. I understand that clicking LMB will do the same, but: 1. There's no indication for that 2. People are just used to use MMB.
