I am a SUMO volunteer and regularly (daily, really) respond to user issues where the individual is not aware that a menu bar exists, yet many features of Thunderbird are so readily available there. I think it was with version 78 that a decision was made to hide the menu bar, possibly for a cleaner look? Regardless, new users need help, and the menu bar makes navigation so much easier than trying to find the desired feature from that cursed hamburger menu (cursed because it has some features of menu bar and uses the same words, furthering confusion). The menu bar is even more important, now that ver 128 is out, because 128 also allows menus to be hidden that require the menu bar to be reactivated. This becomes a vicious circle. True, some users don't want the menu bar, and can easily hide it in one step. But please look at this from the new or casual user's perspective: hiding useful tools is counter-productive. I would very much like to see a Print option in K-9 Mail/Thunderbird for Android, much like you get in the Outlook for mobile app. When clicked on, it will use the print dialog built into your phone so that you can send it to the printer or save the message as A PDF document. Until beginning of September it was possible to drag more email addresses at once (strg+a) to BCC and send the message to all of them. Now this is not possible any more, instead it tries to add the addresses to the attachment!!!?? Would be nice to change that to the previous version. Thanks for you effort. ... View more

I used prior versions of Bookmarks prolifically.  However, in this version I can bookmark but cannot set up subfolders and label them.   It will set up a subfolder and label it "New Folder" but you cannot rename the folders.  The result is this feature only stores a bookmark, but no subfolders under that bookmark that can be labeled.  Makes it all pretty useless.   Does this need some code rework? or is there something I can do here to fix this. ... See picture below. As you can see in the title bar, Windows chooses white text on my rusty-red accent color background. That's a decent choice and provides good legibility. But look at the bottom of the picture. Looks like Thunderbird chooses to use black text on my rusty-red accent color background. Rather difficult to read... Personal Outlook accounts besides mail host also calendar and contacts, it would be great to support these too. I'm new to cards view and really like it. I would love to see a settings page for cards would be nice. One place where we can set colors, fonts, position, visibility, and so on for the info on the cards. I'd especially like to see an option to add any/all table view column icon to cards. There is plenty of room on the cards. Somewhere is settings, have a checkbox list of icons to display on cards. In table view, I use the following icon columns: delete, selection, select thread toggle, star, attachment, read status and spam. Reply and archive would also be nice. In cards view, for on/off icons, use contrast based on the color scheme. The others can use color to show status, just like table view. ... View more

Please, please, please make it possible to organise bookmarks better (Android). Currently bookmarks exist in exactly the order they are created in each folder. I would like to be able to prioritise/sequence bookmarks within each folder. i.e. to be able to move a bookmark higher or lower in the sequence/list within the folder it resides. However, I believe it could be even more useful if we had the option to set the AI chatbot as the default pane in the sidebar.
